2026 Spring Election Notice
TOWN OF MERTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that an election will be held in the Town of Merton on April 7th, 2026 to fill the offices held by the following:
Supervisor # 2 – James Fleming
Supervisor # 4 – James Olson
The terms of office for the Supervisors are two-year terms, which will expire in April of 2028.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2025 and the final day for filing nomination papers is January 6, 2026 at 5p.m. Nomination papers, Declaration of Candidacy and Financial forms are available at the Clerk’s Office, Town of Merton Town Hall, W314N7624 Hwy 83, North Lake, Monday to Thursday from 8a.m. to 4p.m. and Friday until 3p.m.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that if a primary election is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
