The Department of Public Works is responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance activities related to Town of Merton roads and public right-of-ways. 

A driveway permit is necessary for new construction and replacement driveways.

For new construction, your driveway permit will go thru the building inspector's department.  For replacement driveways, your driveway permit will go through the DPW.   

For questions on driveways please contact the Director of Public Works, Paul Griffin (262-966-2118).  A voicemail message can be left if no one is available.

Road projects will also be listed under Community at the top of the website for current projects.
