The United States Postal Service moved the postmark process from local application to regional sorting centers. What that means, MAIL TAX PAYMENTS EARLY TO MAKE SURE THE POSTMARK HAS A DATE THAT YOU WANT THE TAXES PAID BY. The date on the check does not mean that is when your payment is received or postmarked by
2025-2026 Tax Collection
- Mailed payments will be receipted December 31, 2025 if postmarked by that date.
- Payments deposited in the drop box (outside Town Hall main entrance) on or before 12/31/2025 will be receipted as paid in 2025.
- If you would like a receipt for online payment from your mortgagte company or mailed in payments send a self-addressed stamped envelope.
- Receipts are given for in-person payments .
- Receipts will be sent for payments sent via mail or dop box, if an email is provided.
- After January 31, 2026, checks should be made payable and sent to: Waukesha County Treasurer, 151 W. Moreland Blvd. Room 148, Waukesha WI 53188.
- Please issue a separate check for dog license and/or a compost pass.

- Address changed, please mail coupon back with box marked and new address writen on the coupon.
