The Town of Merton is conducting a Town Wide Re-assessment of properties this year.

Under the state law (sec 70.05(5)(b), Wis Stats) each municipality must assess all major classes of property within 10% of full value in the same year.  The Town's properties are currently assessed well below the market value, triggering the Town Wide Re-assessment.

Notices were mailed out to property owners on Tuesday,  June 24, 2025 from Catalis Tax & CAMA, Inc.

If you have not received a notice by July 1, please contact the Assessor using the contact information below.

The Assessor is available to meet with residents in person on July 15 and 16 at the Town Hall during the hours of 8:30-11:30 AND 12:30-4:30.  Appointments are recommended and should be made PRIOR TO JULY 15 by using the contact information below.
