Waukesha County has closed CTH E between CTH Q and CTH VV due to a box culvert failure at the tributary of the Oconomowoc River, located between Lake Keesus and the Oconomowoc River.

The closure is approximately 1/2 mile north of CTH VV.  Barricades are being put in place by Waukesha County, and the road will be closed to through traffic for safety reasons.  

Local access will be maintained from both the north and south; however, traffic will not be able to pass through the closure area.  The county will evaluate next steps for the repair and work to reopen the road as soon as safely possible.
